Tech Stuff
1. Operating Systems
In the tech world, the operating system (OS) you prefer is considered as much of a defining feature as the clothes you wear or the music you like. As a result, this page examines the three major OSes out there today: UNIX (including macOS), Linux, and Windows.
2. Retro Computers
I collect vintage computers, and this page is dedicated to my favourites. The first part discusses the old personal computers of the 1970s-1990s (Apple, Commodore, Tandy, IBM, Atari, Sinclair, ColecoVision, Osborne, Kaypro and GRiD) while the second part discusses the high-end (and costly) UNIX workstations of the 1990s and early 2000s (SUN, Tadpole, SGI, DEC, NeXT and HP).
3. Arcade Games
Yes, I play video games the size of a refrigerator! I also collect and restore arcade games too. Click here to learn more.
4. Tech Flicks
There are many techy/geeky/nerdy movies and sitcoms out there! Here are some of my favourites (in alphabetical order).
5. Tech Slogans
Proper attire must be worn at all times by those in the tech industry. Jeans or shorts, running shoes, and a shirt with a cheeky slogan comprise the standard nerd wear. This page outlines some common slogans that you may find on clothing adorned by tech people today.
